Trip 3 – USA & Panama Canal Cruise

The taste of travelling overseas late in 2010, was a big trigger to taking this trip. In fact, I think I started talking to the travel agent with some booking in the first week after I got home.

I had decided to spend the time seeing more of The United State of America. However, in the planning stage, I was having some trouble deciding which cities and states to visit. A suggestion to look at a cruise for some of the time end up being filling in almost half of my trip.

The overall trip turned out to be a great journey. Even though there was a large part of the trip that I failed to plan well. But everything worked out in the end.

The Statistics

The distance covered on this trip was 49,300km (30,750 miles). Of which 32,500km (20,300 miles) was by air and 16,800km (10,450 miles) was by sea.

There was a total of nine flights spending some 42+ hours in the air.

On two different continent, North America & South America
