When I first travelled alone earlier in 2010 I got a real taste for travelling. So later in the year when I was getting a little restless with work and looking to break the monotony I arranged six weeks annual leave. With just 5 weeks to plan and book the trip, I started out with plans to visit three cities. Soon with the help of a travel agent I had expanded on this starting point to include six countries travelling around the world.
The Statistics
The distance covered on this trip was 42,000km (26,000 miles).
There was a total of ten flights spending some 50+ hours in the air.
I visited six different countries, United States of America, Canada, Germany, England, Switzerland and Hong Kong.
On three different continents, North America, Europe and Asia.
I spent a total of 35 nights in hotels, Vancouver (10), Seattle (4), Las Vegas (9), Toronto (2), towns in England (5), London (2) and Hong Kong (3).
